Who we are
One Metre Studio is a digital ad studio. We decide how the information you share with us is used. If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email contact@onemetrehq.com.
What we collect
- What you enter in our brief form: your name, work email, brand name, website, social handles, product details, audience, goals, ad platforms, budget range, the package you're interested in, who referred you, and any notes.
- Links you share to product photos or brand guidelines, and the files behind them.
- Anything you send us by email.
We don't ask for payment details through this site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and make the sample ads you asked for. This is a step you've asked us to take before any agreement.
- To deliver and manage work once you're a client, including invoicing. This is needed to carry out our agreement with you.
- To keep simple records of where enquiries come from, so we can improve our service. This is in our legitimate interests.
We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a marketing mailing list without your agreement.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the studio:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the brief form.
- Our email provider, which handles messages to contact@onemetrehq.com.
- The production tools we use to make your ads, which receive the product images and details needed for that work.
- A payment provider, if you become a client and pay us.
Some of these services store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted within 12 months.
- Client records: kept for 6 years after our work ends, because UK tax rules require it.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to stop using it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Email contact@onemetrehq.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
